Service Description

Shirodhara is an ancient Ayurvedic therapy that combines the cleansing and stimulation effect of warm oil with deep pressure from the hands. Warming oil (or other liquid) is poured in a continuous stream over the forehead or ‘ajna marma‘, where nerves are highly concentrated. The pressure of the oil onto the forehead creates a vibration which penetrates into it and stimulates the brain.
